I have been to Phi Phi years ago but took a girl with me. Anyway, just wondering if there are any lady bars there now?  My friend and I would prefer to get a girl there. If we can, is it the usual going Thai rate and how much are bar fines?

I’ve been going to Phi Phi every six months for the last 3 years and have never seen a girl bar there.  However, you do have a few options for women if you’re going to Phi Phi:  

Options 1- Bar Fine a Girl in Phuket

This is probably your best option if you don’t want to deal with the unknowns involved with the meeting a girl on Phi Phi.

One day or two days before you go to Phi Phi, stop in Phuket and go bar hoping from lady bar to lady bar. (Patong Road is a good place for this and is full of beautiful girls every night of the week.)

When you meet a girl that you like enough to spend a couple of days with, ask her if she wants to go to Phi Phi.  Most will say yes.

Here is a break down of the costs:
- 300 to 500 baht “bar fine” per day
- 500 to 1000 baht for the girl per day
- other expenses like food, drinks, transportation, etc…

(Note: This is the standard rates for bar girls, if like the best of the best and prefer dancers, the cost is 1,000 baht “bar fine” per day and 3,000 baht for the girl each day.)

The upside is you are guaranteed a girl.  The downside is you’ll have to “babysit.”

Option 2- Get a Thai Girl in Phi Phi

I have never met a prostitute in Phi Phi, but I have come across some very beautiful Thai women who are on vacation.  Although this option is hit or miss.  The fact is, you may or may not find a Thai girl which is cute enough.  She may be with another man or with friends who are protective.

Either way, there is a good chance you can pull a Thai girl on Phi Phi.

Option 3- Foreign Girls

As I’m sure you’ve read on our website, Phi Phi is usually full of foreign girls (excluding the weekend of the Full Moon Party).  If this is your style and if you have a little game, you can clean up on Koh Phi Phi Don.  However, this is also an unknown.  If you go this route you can either clean up every night of the week or go dry your whole trip.

Frankly, I go to Phi Phi to get away from Thai girls and enjoy paradise with other English speaking tourists.  I may or may not pull a girl in Phi Phi, but I’ll have a hell of a time either way.

I do this because if you bring a girl from another location, you never know.  The girl you take with you could be cool as hell or you could be bored of her after the first night.

When I first arrived in Thailand, it was Phi Phi that really made me fall in love with Thailand.
